In an exciting kickoff to the 2024 Press Week, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, faced off against the Njikoka Local Government team in a novelty football match. The highly anticipated match ended with Njikoka LGA emerging victorious, defeating NUJ Anambra Council 2-1.
Barr. Chinedu Dominic Ononiba, the Mayor of Njikoka Local Government, was accompanied by his Councillors, Hon. Adaobi Nweke, Majority Leader, Hon. Ifeanyi Aghamba, Chief Whip, Hon. Ngozi Okafor, cheering on his team to victory.
