Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo Trains Idemili Youths and women on Bio-Gas Production and Strategic Renewable Energy Skills

The Honourable member representing Idemili North and South federal constituency, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, is set to empower Idemili youths with bio-gas production and renewable energy skills. As a passionate advocate for technology and alternative energy sources, Hon. Okonkwo has partnered with the National Biotechnology Research and Development Agency (Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology) to train youths and women in Idemili North and South.

The Trainings will take place simultaneously at the Civic Center in Eziowelle in Idemili North L.G.A. with the theme:*”Technological Training in the Production of Bio-Gas for Domestic Utilization in Idemili North and South Federal Constituency* on the 6th-8th November 2024 by 10am. and at Civic center Nnokwa with the theme: *Strategic Renewable Energy Skills Acquisition and Empowerment programme for women and Youths* on the 6th-8th November, 2024 by 10am.

According to the release from his aide, “This initiative fulfills Hon. Okonkwo’s campaign promise to Umu-Idemili, made during the 2023 elections, to attract federal agencies to explore alternative energy sources for electricity generation, cooking, and transportation, while combating climate change. By keeping this promise, Hon. Okonkwo demonstrates his commitment to transforming the lives of his constituents.

“As a dedicated leader, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo has consistently delivered on his promises, earning recognition for his impressive achievements during his first year in office. His efforts have ushered in a new era of legislative triumphs in Idemili, cementing his reputation as an exemplary leader, ” it concludes.
