. . . Wishes Nigerians a Productive 2019

The Vice Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Peter Obi, has charged Nigerians to work together towards enthroning a new Nigeria that will in turn take care of all the needs of Nigerians.
Obi enumerated one of Nigerians’ unmet needs as provision of security through job-creation to constant power supply.
Obi spoke during an interactive session among PDP faithful at Ekwunife Centre, Awka.
He encouraged Nigerians to vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, saying that from his rich pedigree of wealth-creation, status as employer of Labour and political and administrative experience, he had the capacity of enthroning the new Nigeria that Nigerians yearned for.
In her own speech, the convener of the event, Sen. Uche Ekwunife, who described Mr. Peter Obi as “our project”, said that all Nigerians interested in the progress of the country must join hands to deliver Atiku and Obi.
Corroborating Sen. Ekwunife, Prof. ABC Nwosu said that Peter Obi’s candidacy had gone beyond Igbo land. He noted that Obi, being a recognized international figure, should be the project of all Nigerians.
Meanwhile, Peter Obi has joined other men of goodwill in wishing Nigerians a productive 2019.
In his New Year message sent to media houses, Obi said that as a realist and going by socio-economic indices all over the world, 2019 would be challenging globally, but he prayed that God would continue to be with Nigerian leaders at all levels and grant them the wisdom to take right decisions, especially electing those with clear focus, as well as wealth creators that had an idea of how to make Nigeria to start working again.
Obi appealed to those in authority to see the challenges nations were facing as an opportunity to approach governance from an entirely different perspective, which, according to him, should include seeing that right policies were put in place and vigorously implemented.
Obi also called on Nigerians to show more patriotism by resolving to be part of the project of building a better country for the children of the country, even as he enjoined Nigerians to keep praying for their leaders.
