Tansian University, Umunya, Nigeria, has scored high as the best Regional University in Nigeria in terms of delivering and offering of best education and good conduct in all fields of learning.
The event took place when the Institution’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Eugene Okoye Nwadialor, welcomed a delegation of National Scholars Institute (NSI), the organized body that has been touring the South Eastern Private Universities in Nigeria.
According to NSI report, ‘Tansian University is the best regional University in the areas of delivering quality education to students, having competent teachers (lecturers) and adequately equipped infrastructure for easy learning.
‘The corporate Institute demonstrated that it is pertinent for universities to inculcate the ability and capacity of ensuring adequacy in learning environment, stressing that building a conducive environment for students will definitely engender positivity in all facets of educational activities.’
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nwadialor, on behalf of the Management of the Institution, expressed appreciation for the scorecard. He however stated that the latter would enable the Institution to do more in fostering more quality education to the students. He also charged them to continue to be dispassionate in delivering good judgement towards rating of standards of universities.
The Vice Chancellor seized the opportunity to announce and invite them to the Special Convocation Ceremony coming up by the end of March 2025.
Speaking on the 2024/2025 Admission Session, the Chairman of the Admissions Committee of Tansian University, Umunya, Associate Prof Cater Dike Nnamdi Umeoduagu, when contacted by the organized News body of Nigeria, stated that the 2024/2025 Session’s Admission was still ongoing.
Mr Umeoduagu stressed that there was no private university within the region that was better and more affordable than Tansian University.
He added that Tansian University as a faith based and well established institution, offered B.Sc, M.Sc, PhD, CEP programmes and that admission was ongoing in the following courses – Microbiology, Nursing, Radiography & Medical Imaging, Medical Laboratory, Public Health, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Law, Accounting, Political Science, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mass Communication, Philosophy, Public Administration & Policy Studies, International Relations & Diplomacy, Primary Education, Education Management, Guidance & Counseling, English Education, English & Literary Studies cum Prospective Courses – Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering.
Fides reports that the outgone month of November 2024 was a beehive of activities in Tansian University, ranging from admissions for the 2024/2025 Session, signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CIEPUK, the public presentation of the book: ”Dynamism in Administrative Leadership” in honour of her Vice Chancellor, Professor Eugene Okoye Nwadialor, and many others, even as the forthcoming Special Convocation Ceremony draws near.
