St Thomas Aquinas Solicits Help for Kidney Victim

A kidney victim, Mrs Bernadette Odimgbe, from Isseke, Ihiala LGA of Anambra State, needs N10 million Naira to live. This much was disclosed by the Parish Priest of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Awka. Rev Fr Anthony Akabogu, in a letter of recommendation given to Fides.

Mrs Odimgbe had been diagnosed of End Stage Kidney Failure and requires an urgent transplant that will cost N10m.

According to Fr Akagbogu, the problem had gone beyond what the parish could handle after the parish had managed to raise N2m. He is therefore appealing to members of the public to help in raising the remaining N8m to assist Mrs Odimgbe in having the transplant.
