Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has described mothers as the bedrock of society.
Soludo, whose commendation was to mark last Sunday’s Celebration of Mothers’ Day by the Catholic Church, expressed heartfelt gratitude and admiration towards all mothers.
The Governor said mothers worked hard sacrificed, and gave love to their children, families and society, making it possible for them to grow, thrive and succeed.
Governor Soludo also acknowledged the challenges that mothers faced, particularly during the current troubled times in the country, and assured them of his commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that would make life easier and more fulfilling for all them.
The Governor wished all mothers a happy and blessed Mother’s Day and urged everyone to show appreciation and love towards their mothers, not just on the special occasion but every day.
