The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has congratulated His Lordship, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, on the auspicious occasion of his 18th Episcopal Consecration Anniversary as the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese.
In his goodwill message signed by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Christian Aburime, on 28 April and made available to newsmen in Awka, Governor Soludo extolled Bishop Ezeokafor for having shepherded the Catholic Faithful in Awka Diocese with exceptional dedication, steadfast faith, and profound wisdom for the past eighteen years.
He stated that the esteemed cleric’s passionate leadership had not only strengthened the spiritual fabric of Anambra State but had also contributed immensely to its social and moral development.
The Governor particularly commended Bishop Ezeokafor’s tireless efforts in youth empowerment, promotion of Christian values, and humanitarian service to the less privileged, noting that his numerous initiatives had touched countless lives and continued to make the state a better place for all, together with his consistent advocacy for peace, justice, and development in Nigeria during challenging times.
‘Therefore, Governor Soludo wishes Bishop Ezeokafor well, on his Episcopal milestone, praying that God grants him continued strength, wisdom, and good health as his ministry continues to flourish and bring forth abundant fruits for the glory of God and the benefit of humanity,’ the statement read.
