Soludo Celebrates APGA Success in Last General Elections

. . Fulfils Campaign Promises

By Abuchi Onwumelu

The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria of Nigeria (CBN), Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, December 7, celebrated APGA’s success in the last election.

Speaking during the celebration held in his country home, Isuofia, Aguata LGA, Anambra State, Soludo, a Professor of Economics, thanked all who came to join in the celebration, remarking that he was overwhelmed with the performances of APGA at the last general elections.

He expressed gratitude to God for his loving kindness, even as he appreciated the leadership of APGA, led by Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Ike Oye; and Anambra Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, for his pragmatic and untiring efforts in piloting the affairs of the state.

He said what Anambra State needed now was the generation of ideas to make money and not to depend on the federal government’s allocation.

During the celebration, Hon Barth Chijioke Okoli, the coordinator of Great Soludo Patriots (GSP) Aguata Chapter, from Ekwulobia Ward II, moved a motion, begging Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo to join the race for the 2021 Anambra governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

Hon Augustine Chukwuma Mbah, SSA to the governor on accounts, from Akpo Ward, seconded the motion.

For his part, the self-acclaimed spiritual leader of APGA and Igbo nation, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, described APGA as a deity, prophesying that whomever he blessed would emerge victorious in elections in Anambra State; even as he insisted that Prof. Soludo remained the next governor of Anambra State.

The highlight of the event was the fulfilment of the promise he made during the campaign period by giving out cash prizes to all the wards in Aguata that won at the last general elections.
