Sir Paul Chukwuma Made APC what it has become in Anambra, Party Tells National Chairman

The Anambra State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, says the party’s recent upsurge in the state was made possible by Sir Paul Chukwuma, a leading gubernatorial aspirant of the party for this year’s Governorship Election in the state.

The State Chairman of the party in Anambra, Hon Sir Basil Ejidike, made this known to the Natiuonal Chairman of the party, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje, during the latter’s visit to the state to commission the state secretariat of APC rented and furnished by Chukwuma.

Ejidike described Chukwuma as a good party man who not only rented the secretariat but also provided the furniture therein, and went ahead to reciprocate same in some local government areas and wards in the state.

His words, ‘The ongoing restructuring and strengthening of the party in the state could not have gathered such momentum if not for the support of the sum of N100m extended to the party at the inauguration of the APC Consultative Council in Abuja last year. He also donated a bus to the youth wing of the party in the state.

‘In all, he has remained a big pillar to our collective effort to building a party which we should all be proud of in Anambra.’

Sir Chukwuma’s contributions were not lost on the national leadership of the party and co-aspirants in the forthcoming Anambra State Governorship Election who hailed Sir Chukwuma for his commitment and contributions to the development of the party in the state.

The National Chairman, Ganduje, particularly commended Sir Chukwuma for donating a befitting secretariat to the party in Awka, noting that Sir Chukwuma had made significant contributions to the sustenance of the party in the state.

The national women’s leader of the party, Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, praised Sir Chukwuma for supporting the national women’s programme in Abuja, saying that women would only support those who recognized and appreciated them; even as she contended that women were the core voters in elections.

One of the governorship aspirants, Mr. Chukwuma Umeorji, also commended Sir Paul Chukwuma for his contribution to the party’s development in the state, saying that it was always good to commend anyone who did something good.

Sir Paul Chukwuma, in his speech, pledged his continued commitment to the good of APC’s development in the state and said his agenda remained to connect APC to national politics.

‘It is my agenda to connect Anambra State to the centre. I have been with APC, and I will continue to support APC. We will defeat APGA in the forthcoming election. I plead with you to vote for me in the primary,’ he said.
