School Concludes Academic Session with Thanksgiving

Sequel to the successful conclusion of 2018/2019 academic session, Next Generation International School, Ajalli, Orumba North LGA, Anambra State has embarked on thanksgiving to God in bid to appreciate his faithfulness over the affairs of the school.

The thanksgiving Mass which was held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Ajalli on Sunday, July 21, 2019 was part of the activities lined up for the 10th graduation ceremony of the school.

Leading in the Holy Mass, the Parish Vicar of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Ajalli, Rev. Fr. Chibuike Ezeanyim, praised God for his faithfulness and love which enabled the school work hard towards the successful completion of its 2018/2019 academic session. He maintained that the completion of the academic session marks another level of growth in the lives of the pupils as they have taken a step forward from their present level in life. He congratulated the graduating Basic 6 and Nursery 3 pupils and urged them to be good ambassadors of the school wherever they found themselves.

He emphasized the importance of listening and paying attention to happenings around one’s environment while tracing the story of Jesus visit to Lazarus household. He noted that listening liberates one from the bondage of ignorance. He maintained that human problems started when humans stopped listening to Christ and started listening to merely to people.
He charged the pupils to always pay attention to their teachers as people starts failing when they refused to pay attention.

Fr. Ezeanyim encouraged parents to be consistent with the sacrifice which they were currently making in the academic training of their children, saying that their efforts will yield fruits.
Speaking to Fides, the proprietor of Next Generation International School, Sir. Paul-Mary Onyejeli narrated the success story which the school had recorded since it came into existence. He disclosed that the success story which Next Generation school had recorded over time was made possible by God through the instrumentality of some individuals.

He appreciated the individuals whom God has been using to provide the needed funds among others for school transformation.

Next Generation International School, Ajalli had on Saturday, July 20, 2019 during the 10th graduation ceremony presented awards of honour to the benefactors in appreciation for their support and contributions towards the growth and development of the school.

Notably among the award recipients were Prof. Vincent Onuora, Prof. Chief Humphrey Nwosu, Engr. Patrick Onwumere and the President General of Ajalli Community, Engr. Ejike Okoli. Others includes Engr. Obi Okereke, Mrs. Christy Amaka Awodein, Lady Tessy Onyeri, Mr. Chike Uhala and Mrs. Agnes Okorobasi.

The proprietor disclosed that the awardees has been instrumental towards the growth which the school have recorded over time.

The thanksgiving Mass attracted parents of the pupils among other friends of the school who came to appreciate God for the moral and academic transformation going on in the lives of the pupils.
