Reverend Dr Nnaemeka Ezeonyi, Priest Assistant, Church of The Holy Spirit, Awka has encouraged Christians to know that God lives in them.
In a sermon with Theme : “Living in the knowledge of his presence ” , Reverend Dr Ezeonyi insisted that Christians should live and understand that God’s presence is with them to enable them experience His presence.
He siad further: “This two groups were arguing that God lives in heaven, the other one said God lives in me, but so God lives in heaven and also lives in me .Additionally , God lives in men So I realised that God lives in heaven and God also lives in me and then God lives in men.
“We will talk about that , In Matthew 5 :16 , vs 34 ,45 and 48 ,then vs 16 .
“We don’t know the bearing or the direction of heaven but we know that God is in heaven because Jesus said that God is in heaven.
“Now, there are many scriptures in the Bible that talks about God living in me. I am the temple of God , I carry the glory of God , I carry the presence of God .
“But then, as we round up , it is important to know that, God lives in men no matter how you doubt it, no matter how uncomfortable it is for us.
“There are different levels of Grace in men . I have seen a man who gave a testimony after he has prayed and God answered and some body said. “This is faith in action’ but that was not Faith , it was Grace.
“If am so close to Our Daddy here and you are not that close to him then I have bold grace before him. If it will take you 10 years to get something from him , it will take me a day to ask him and he will give it to me then i have higher grace before him.
“But there are prayers you will even been praying for yourselves with out getting answers and God will send the right man to you, may be a destiny helper or a man of God to speak in to your life and then thing will turn around for you.
“But then, how do we know where we are living in the world where the church and ministry of God have been defied by evil men and fake pastors. If we have 20 pastors 18 may be fake.
“How do we know and what do we do ?Do we rely on looking for people whose grace is bigger than ours or do we build our own grace.
“There is something that God does , The more you try to build your grace in the presence of God , God will send help to You. Men that are real.
“I have instances where I meet men of God and God revealed to me , there was a man of God that I meet ,my wife was dreaming where we meet that man of God and then we are on the same bed having the same dream . Both of us are having the same dream at the same time
“After two weeks or one month, we went to the man of God and we said, I don’t know ,My wife had a dream that we had a relationship with you and I also had the same dream on the same time on the same night. My wife was surprised because i did not tell her. The man of God was so happy.
“I said I dont know why because I do not follow men of God, but as from today I am your friend because you are older than me you are my father. I welcome you to my life.
“God will send men to you because you don’t run after men , just do all you can”, . Reverend Dr Nnaemeka Ezeonyi concluded.
Vicar of the Church of The Holy Spirit Awka, Reverend Canon Dr Onyeka Egwuonwu encouraged Christians to be prayerful as the world is full of evil ,even as some people are daily consulting evil men to ensure others fail in their lives ambition.
