…Commends Archbishop Ibezim

For the solidarity and love from the Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim PhD, the Founder Rev. Ezeugo Chinonso Charity Foundation, Reverend Ezeugo Ozoemena C has appreciated Archbishop Ibezim for solidly standing by him and the Charity foundation always.
Meanwhile, plans are ongoing for activities to kick start 2024 service to humanity great commision outreach for widows, widowers, scholarship for school children at all levels and medical outreach to mention but a few.
The foundation started as Pastor Ezeugo Chinonso and Friends Charity Foundation when Reverend Ezeugo Ozoemena C was a local church Helper at Immanuel church, Adazi-Enu in the Anglican Communion, but today he is a clergyman serving at the New Jerusalem Anglican church Ngozika Housing Estate Phase ll Awka.
According to Reverend Ezeugo: “This Great Commission, Rev Ezeugo Chinonso Charity Foundation, started the little beginning with 15 women (5 widows, 5 umuada and 5 wives “Anutara Di”) with 1 bag of Rice, 50 tubers of Yam,1 bag of Garri and 1 carton of malt on the 30th Day of December 2016 at Umuezekpoko Umuakarugwo Umuoru, Uga Village Hall , Anambra State.
“And since then, until now, God has been fully involved, moving this Commission from grace to grace and from strength to strength, helping and touching the lives of people from different communities, towns and states with the supports of friends of this Commission, just like the motto implies….”Service to Humanity”…. “Your Smiles, Our concern”*
He continued: “The Primary Purpose of this great commission are basically on Mission and Evangelism, Widows and Orphans (Less Privileged) with Education and Empowerment.
“God has been our help, this foundation has a yearly program that takes place at every end of the year which includes 1 day Medical outreach where the sick get free treatment and free drugs (Eye, Dental and General Health Treatments) every 29th December followed by 1 day Crusade on every 30th December which includes empowerment night.
“Here, people are being empowered with equipments for the skills they learnt (Sponsored by the foundation) like sewing machines, Saloon equipments, Cash etc.
Widows and Orphans (Less Privileged) are also gifted with Rice,Oil, Noodles,yam, wrappers etc.
“On the Evangelism arm, this commission has been able to partner with different churches in the rural areas, supporting them in their own little way through gifting of materials like cements for church building, musical instruments, Bibles, Cash etc
“We also embark on the operation feed the street program every Valentine’s Day, Rev Ozoemena’s Birthday and some other days as the need maybe.
“On the educational arm of this Commission, scholarships are not left out in this service to humanity. We have about 20 students who are in school (both primary, secondary and Higher Institution) through the scholarship scheme of this Commission and some others who receive school fees once/twice a year. Schools are visited to encourage the children and pilot them on some sensitive topics they need to stay focused on and they are been gifted writing materials like Books,pens,pencils etc.
The Founder/Director of the Reverend Ezeugo Chinonso Charity Foundation insisted that:”The Lord has been using so many great men and women (friends of Rev. Ozoemena Ezeugo) to push this Commission this far and it’s moving to a better height”.
Rev Ezeugo thanked the secretary of the foundation Miss Chinenye Hope Onyeuno and member Ven Dr Ifeanyi Umeh for their selfless support and solidarity in actualize the dreams.
