Paul Chukwuma Receives award for Exceptional Contributions to Education, Community Development

In recognition of his philanthropic contributions to his community and society at large, Sir Paul Chukwuma has been presented with the African Illustrious Award by the African Media Group. The award ceremony, which was held at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, was attended by a diverse group of people from all walks of life who have made significant contributions to the growth of humanity.

Sir Paul Chukwuma was honoured for his various contributions to his community, including the construction of roads and support for the indigent in Umueri, as well as his support for education, which includes the recent payment of SSCE and UTME fees for 1,000 and 500 students in Anambra State, respectively.

The African Illustrious Award, which began five years ago, aims to reward deserving Africans who have distinguished themselves in their various contributions to the growth of African societies.

Speaking during the presentation of the award, Chief Hillary Udanoh, who represented Sir Paul Chukwuma at the award ceremony, dedicated the award to the people of Anambra State, stating that Sir Paul Chukwuma had promised not to relent in his efforts to improve humanity and reduce economic inequalities as best as he could.

Paul Chukwuma, who is renowned for his silent brand of philanthropy, has always reiterated his commitment to improving education and the standard of living by consistently investing in education and the lives of people, Fides gathered.

Other awardees included the President of Senegal, Bassirou Doamaye Faye; Governor Alex Otti; Dele Momodu; and several others.
