Last Sunday was Palm Sunday, ushering in Holy week in the Christendom.
Christians marked Palm Sunday, commemorating triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.
Special masses and services were held in different churches where Christians attended with palm front; singing Hosanna in the highest.
The day portrays the kingship of Jesus Christ, his supremacy and humility, which are expected of all Christians to emulate.
Palm Sunday was also the beginning of Holy week when the church reenacts the passions of Christ, His death and Resurrection morning on Easter.
At The Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion particularly Church of The Holy Spirit Awka were Postulants at St Paul’s Theology College, Awka and students of Paul University Awka as well as worshippers at The Church of The Holy Spirit Awka observed the Palm Sunday in a grand style.

Ven.Dr Egwuonwu charged Christians to ensure they celebrate Jesus Christ always in their lives not seasonal celebrations.
