Obiano Mourns Former Works Commissioner’s Wife

The former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano and his family have commiserated with former Commissioner for Works in the state, Engr Marcel Ifejiofor, over the passing of his wife, Adaobi.

Ifejiofor who worked under Obiano during his time as governor, lost his wife on Saturday morning oF July 27.

Obiano in a press release by his Chief Publicist, Mr Tony Nezianya, quoted Obiano as praising the virtues of his former aide’s late wife.

He said: ‘We mourn her demise because she was a virtuous woman who lived for her family.

‘She was a simple woman who valued education and worked hard to achieve a Ph.D. An easy-going person, who never allowed materialism to define her.

‘My wife, Osodieme, and I, will miss her wise counsel that we enjoyed during our days at the helm at the Anambra State House,’ Obiano said.
