The NNEWI DIOCESAN COMMUNICATORS/MEDIA OFFICERS had her one day Pre-confrence /workshop. The Pre-confrence /workshop was aimed at preparing for the upcoming CON Conference Ilesa 2025 and equipping the youths with some skills that will aid them in circulating information to their local platforms based on what was taught in last year CON Communicators/Media officers conference and to also help the youths in combating the present economic challenges in our country through one youth one skill project of the Diocese.
Nnewi Diocese invited Engr. Arinze Okonkwo a professional drone pilot and Ord. John Edwin the Diocesan Media director as our resource personal. The two major focus was on setting up equipment for live streaming and flying of drone in occasions.
Trainees who attended the workshop expressed satisfaction with what was taught and moved a motion to invite the trainer for a three months intensive training (though it’s pending until the Bishop approves it)
The Conference/ workshop was organized by the *DIOCESE OF NNEWI ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CAPACITY BUILDING DEPARTMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DIOCESAN MEDIA TEAM* a total number of 84 youths registered but 78 attended in actual, the Conference/workshop promised to be more interesting next edition.
The organizers appreciated the Bishop, Rt. Rev’d Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi for giving them massive support.
