The Nnewi Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NCCIMA), has written to the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, over the spate of development in the state.
A letter by the President of the Chamber, Mr Ezukwo Moses, and the Executive Secretary, Mr Obiora Ibekwe, conveyed the appreciation of the business community in Nnewi to the Governor.
The letter which was made available to newsmen commended what it described as the remarkable infrastructural development witnessed in Anambra State under the Administration of Soludo, especially in Nnewi Area.
The group mentioned some of the projects that had been constructed in Nnewi Area to include; Bank Road, Nnewi-Okija Road and Igwe Orizu Road.
They described the projects as crucial development projects that have significantly eased transportation and facilitated smoother business operations in the area.
Part of the letter read: “These projects will not only improve connectivity and enhance the quality of life for our people, but will also foster economic growth by enabling the smooth movement of goods and services.
“It will further position Nnewi as a more attractive destination for investment and trade. We salute your leadership and unwavering dedication to the infrastructural development of Anambra State. We express our sincere gratitude and remain committed to supporting your efforts in building a prosperous and vibrant Anambra State,” the letter stated.
