The Chairman of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Anambra State Council, Comrade Edith Onwuka, JP, has appreciated and commended the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo and his wife, Nonye, describing them as a couple worthy of emulation.
The NANNM boss who gave the commendation while delivering her Easter Message to the members of the Association in Awka, applauded the Government of Anambra State led by Professor Soludo for improving the state infrastructurally and otherwise, even as she called the Governor’s wife a dutiful and supportive wife.
‘As Christians celebrate the Death and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, I salute you, Mr. Governor, Your Excellency, and your esteemed family. I wish you a joyous and peaceful Easter Celebration. May this special day bring you closer to your loved ones, fill your hearts with hope and renewal, and remind you of the power of resilience and faith.
‘Thank you for your tireless efforts in leading our state. May God bless and strengthen you and your family throughout this Easter Season and beyond,’ she prayed.
She said the State under the Administration of Gov Soludo had seen many jobs created directly and indirectly to the admiration of all and sundry.
‘All these have been made possible because of a visionary leader in Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, who has really transformed every sector of the state’s economy by installing a friendly environment. He has really stabilized the state,’ she said.
Comrade Onwuka urged the people of the state to always support the present administration, so that it would achieve all its set goals and objectives.
‘The people have a role to play in the task of enthroning a government that must be responsive to the realities of the developmental needs of the state,’ she said.
