It was jubilation galore in Mbosi, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State as 70 -Year old man, Chief Christopher Ojinnka was set free by his abductors after 37 days of abduction.
Chief Ojinnka, who was said to be the Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ihiala Local Government Area of the state, was said to have been abducted on December 24, 2024 in his home in Mbosi by heavily armed men who were said to have stormed his home on the fateful day and was forcibly taken away.
He was however set free on January 30, 2025, after spending 37 days under dehumanizing conditions with his abductors.
Meanwhile, the National Coordinator of Ikemba Front, Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu, and others, have congratulated Chief Ojinnka who was said to have been admitted in a hospital for medical checkup.
While condemning his kidnap, Awogu thanked God for his release, saying that many who were kidnapped did not come back.
