A Labour Party Guber Aspirant in Anambra State, Mr John Nwosu, has expressed his condolences to victims and families of the tragic tanker explosion incident at Ugwu Onyeama, near Enugu, on January 25.
The accident, it will be recalled, claimed 15 lives, including a family of eleven, after the tanker developed a brake problem and rammed into some vehicles before falling and exploding.
Reacting to the tragedy on his X handle, Nwosu said, ‘I am deeply saddened to hear about the recent tragic gas fire explosion outbreak at Ugwu Onyeama in Enugu State. My heartfelt condolences go out to the victims and their families during this incredibly difficult time. The pain and suffering caused by this disaster is unimaginable, and my thoughts are with everyone affected.
‘May those who lost their lives rest in peace, and may their families find the strength and courage to endure in the face of such loss. I pray for a swift recovery for the injured and for healing and support for the entire community in this trying time.’
