A Nimo based industrialist, Chief Francis Nwabachili, has urged the electorate to vote in leaders who would effectively represent their interests and make their lives more meaningful.
Nwabachili who is the MD of Safanaco Technical Industries, Nimo, said candidates like Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Uche Ekwunife, presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and senatorial candidate of PDP for Anambra Central, respectively, could be trusted to make Nigerians happy.
Speaking with Fides in his office in Nimo, the industrialist urged the people of Njikoka to vote for Atiku for president and Ekwunife for senate, as they were capable of meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the Nigerian masses.
He said it was time to elect leaders who would make the economy better, create employment and make education affordable.
He said that a vote for Atiku and Obi would provide security, freedom of speech, infrastructural development and adequate power, as well as boost agriculture by stopping the menace of herdsmen.
Futhermore, he noted that Atiku would effect the restructuring of the country. He urged everyone to make ready their PVCs to vote in Atiku and Ekwunife, a woman, he said, that had a good track record of achievements in her constituency.
Nwabachili also urged voters to secure their votes and not be cowed by insinuations of rigging, saying it was a ploy by the incumbent party to scare voters away.
He also called on churches to mobilize their members to fully participate in the election, even if their day of worship fell on the election day.
He finally urged pro-Biafra agitators not to carry out their boycott in order to ensure that they voted out the man that had been terrorizing them.
‘Whoever votes that day will receive God’s blessings,’ he concluded.
