The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon. Chief (Sir) Stanley Nkwoka has commiserated with the immediate family, people of Umuawulu Community and Awka South Local Government Area, following the death of the erstwhile Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, the late Rt. Hon. Harford Ikechukwu Oseke.
Nkwoka expressed deep sorrow over what he described as the untimely demise of the former lawmaker and the former Majority Leader of the Anambra State House Assembly, who died at the age of 64 years.
In a press statement issued to newsmen at the Council Headquarters, Ogidi, by the Chief Servant of Idemili North LGA, Chief Nkwoka described the late Oseke, who reportedly died while working out, as a respected personality in his community and the entire Awka South Local Government Area and by extension, Anambra State.
According to the press statement, the news of his demise had left the state in a state of mourning and sadness.
The Transition Committee Chairman while condoling with them prayed for the quick repose of his soul, even as he asked God to grant his family the fortitude to bear what he described as irreparable loss.
