. . Commences Drilling of Water Borehole in Abagana

The member representing Njikoka II State Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Sir Pete Ibida, recently visited HRM Igwe Patrick Mbamalu Okeke of Abagana, in Njikoka Local Government of Anambra State.
Speaking immediately on the essence of visit, Hon. Ibida who is the House Committee Chairman on Local Government and Town Union Matters, stated that he visited to fulfill his promise of support for the security architecture of Abagana local vigilante.
He said that security was paramount in the development of any town and urged them to use the money judiciously.
The honourable who is a member of Igwe’s cabinet in Abagana with the chieftaincy title of Ugwumba Abagana, made it clear that his love and relationship with the people of Abagana remained warm and robust.
He called on the generality of Abagana people to rally round his representation, irrespective of their political affiliation, interest and leaning. He reaffirmed that politics was a game where losers and victors ought to accept the reality with the spirit of sportsmanship and enjoined all to align and synergize with him for the progress of Njikoka II State Constituency.
On the forthcoming Ofala Festival of Igwe Abagana and Abagana in general, Ibida presented a cheque to the traditional ruler and promised to commence the drilling of borehole at Ezi-obodo-Ili Abagana in recognition and appreciation of Abagana people’s solidarity to him during and after the electioneering period.
In their separate speeches, Chief Raphael Okakpu, on behalf of the traditional ruler, and Mr Benjamin Ilonze of Abagana Vigilante, respectively, described Hon Ibida as a man with the milk of kindness; as well as a vibrant parliamentarian with enormous managerial acumen.
They described Ibida as very sensitive, responsible and responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of his constituents, and thanked him for all he had done which they described as astonishing, prodigious and too numerous to mention.
