The African Democratic Party, ADC, Candidate for the November 8 Guber Election in Anambra State, Mr John Nwosu, has reiterated his resolve to pull the state out of the doldrums which the current Administration of Prof Chukwuma Soludo has put it into. Nwosu stated this, June 22, when he was received by a powerful political bloc in the state, Omambala Union, in Umueri, Anambra North Senatorial Zone.
Nwosu was received by the leadership of the Omambala Union, led by its Chairman, Dr. Chike Obidigbo.
Several traditional rulers from across the Omambala Local Government Areas, comprising Anambra East, Anambra West, Ayamelum, and Oyi, were in attendance.
Addressing the gathering, Nwosu shared his vision for Anambra State and emphasized the urgent need to rescue the state from what he described as stagnation under the current administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
His words, ‘Anambra must move from theory to practical governance; from analogue methods to digital solutions in service delivery.’
Nwosu pledged transformative leadership and grassroots-oriented development.
In his remarks, Dr. Obidigbo thanked Nwosu for honouring the Union with his visit and for recognizing the strategic importance of the Omambala bloc in the state’s political structure.
He expressed the Union’s appreciation and extended its best wishes to the ADC candidate in the coming polls.
The Omambala Clan, regarded as the largest single cultural-political bloc in Anambra North Senatorial Zone, is believed to hold a big say in determining the electoral outcome in the state.
