Sir Paul Chukwuma, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, has assured the People of Anambra North in Anambra State that he will fully apply himself to the business of governance to restore the glory of the state if elected.
Chukwuma, who made this known while addressing a powerful political movement in Anambra North, the Anambra North Political Movement (ANPM), which endorsed his Guber ambition recently, pledged to work tirelessly for his victory in the forthcoming Anambra Governorship Election on November 8 this year.
Speaking during the endorsement ceremony, the group’s coordinator, Comrade Chinedu Ekweoba, described Sir Chukwuma as the most competent and credible contender in the race.
He said the decision to back Chukwuma was reached after wide consultations among stakeholders across the Anambra North Senatorial District.
Ekweoba noted that the YPP Candidate’s experience, intellect, and record of service set him apart from other contenders, stressing that Chukwuma currently remained the best choice for Anambra People.
In his response, Sir Paul Chukwuma thanked the group for their confidence and support, assuring that he would not betray the trust reposed in him by them.
He also presented motorcycles to the group’s coordinators to aid their mobilisation efforts across communities in Anambra North.
The coordinators, visibly pleased by the gesture, pledged to redouble their efforts in grassroots sensitisation and voter mobilisation for the YPP Candidate.
Chukwuma is one of the candidates favoured to give the incumbent Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, a run for his money, given Chukwuma’s charisma, visibility and popularity.
