The Diocesan Bishop and President of the Diocese of Ekiti West Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Dr. Cornelius Oludare Adagbada, has approved that the third session of the Eight Synod be held between 4 and 7 September 2025 at St. Paul’s Millennium Anglican Church, Odo Owa Ekiti. He made this known recently while speaking with newsmen on developments in the country.
The theme for the programme is ”Sacred living word: A life sustenance to its faithful doers”.
Speaking also on the coming programme Mr. George Ogun-ijesa and Mr. Dipo Kudabo, who are Chairman and Secretary of the planning committee respectively, noted that the synod’s official opening ceremonies would commence by 10am on Friday 5 September 2025, while the thanksgiving service comes up on Sunday.
Eminent personalities expected in attendance include Kings, government officials, clergy and Mama Esther Olusola Adagbada, the wife of the Bishop.
Present also at the pre-synod parley with newsmen was the diocesan PRO, Evangelist Olusayo Bakare, who used the opportunity to appreciate the host, Ven. Samuel Morounfade, in charge of the Odo Owa Archdeaconry.
