Diocese on the Niger, Anglican Communion, Anambra State, is set for Fresh Manna International Conference between November 27th and 30th at the All Saints’ Cathedral, Onitsha.

The annual religious festival of the Diocese on the Niger will start with a pre-conference press chat with the host Bishop, the Rt Rev Dr Owen Nwokolo.

‘The conference will bring positive changes in the lives of people and society.

‘At the end of this year’s Fresh Manna International Conference, Ndi Anambra as whole, will mark a new dawn in their lives. The feet of the saints that will throng here and their prayers will not only bring us open heavens, but will avail everyone in this state a Divine touch,’ Bishop Nwokolo reassured.

He explained that God had earlier in His wisdom chosen His special kinds of servants to minister at the four-day conference, even as he appealed to Ndi Anambra, both Anglicans and non-Anglicans, to avail themselves of the blessings of the conference.

Corroborating the bishop’s optimism, the Camp Commandant of the Conference, Ven Samuel Ezewudo, expressed very high faith for what he called the unfailing promise of God to ‘positively re-engineer our lives and our state through this year’s Fresh Manna International Conference.’

The Archdeacon who also doubles as the Sub-Dean of All Saints’ Cathedral, believed that the conference would be a veritable occasion to reposition Anambra and her people.

Describing the spiritual get-together as an uncommon gathering of the decade, he entreated everyone in the state and beyond to adjust their personal and group routines to attend the event.

The Conference Secretary, Ven John Nkwoemezie, had also in a separate interview emphasised that the conference which theme was “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col.1: 27), was rich enough to meet what he termed various needs of the people.

According to him, the conference would have about ten different seminar topics to be handled by renowned resource persons in health, youth matters, agriculture and the Christian faith.
