The Ag. Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odomegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Prof. Kate Omenugha has shown happiness for her colleague and academia, Dr. Koffi Akakpo who was inaugurated as the 19th president of Kentucky State University (KSU), America.
The professor who noted that the appointment of Dr Akakpo was a true representation of his resilience, vision and commitment to excellence expressed that she was confident in the leadership of the president, owing to the fact that he is a transformative leader.
Making her congratulatory message on her Social media handle, the Ag. VC in her remarks added that the appointment of Dr. Akakpo will further strengthened COOU’s collaboration with KSU as the both institution aligns with the with 3Vs strategic vision which are: Values, Viability and Visibility.
She is optimistic that with Dr Akpabio on the saddle, KSU would experience a more transformative change as well as have a stronger partnership with her university.
