COOU Acting VC, Omenugha, Marks One Year in Office

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha, on Thursday, 5th December, marked one year of remarkable and visible achievements in office.

Speaking on the celebration, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of COOU, Dr. Harrison Madubueze, said the Acting Vice-Chancellor took over from Prof. Greg Nwakoby on the 5th December, 2023, saying that her predecessor graciously handed over the mantle of leadership, entrusting the future of COOU institution to her and that it was during that symbolic handover ceremony that she declared, ‘COOU is our own, and we have no other university as Ndị Anambra. We must live here passionately’.

According to him, the heartfelt message had continued to guide the University Community since then.

‘We are celebrating one year of unprecedented impacts. Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha clocks 365 days as the Ag. Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State.

‘It’s been one year of amazing impacts! One year of an A-Class administration! One year of shared leadership. We sincerely appreciate our Visitor, Mr. Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, for the gift of an Administrator per excellence.’
