The Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon. Stanley Nkwoka, Monday, inspected the ongoing beautification of Nkpor Junction Roundabout, as well as the distilling of Eke-Agu Abatete-Oraukwu Road.
Inspecting the ongoing project at Nkpor Junction Roundabout, the Mayor charged the Supervisor for Works INLGA, Hon. Ifeanyi Ekwo, and his team, to expedite action towards completing the assignments speedily, urging them to do a neat and quality job that would stand the test of time.
At Eke-Agu Abatete-Oraukwu Road, the Council boss urged those distilling the gutters and drainages to be fast and ensure speedy evacuation of sands removed from the gutters, even as he said he wanted all nooks and crannies of Idemili North to wear a new and aesthetic look before, during and after the yuletide.
The Mayor was accompanied to the inspection by his newly appointed Chief of Staff, Hon. Chukwunonso Dim, among others.
Meanwhile, Nkwoka has congratulated the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Ernest Ezeajughi, on his birthday anniversary celebration.
In his congratulatory message contained in a statement he signed, Hon Nkwoka described the celebrant as a thoroughbred and refined politician who had successfully plied his trade locally and internationally.
He described the celebrant as an outstanding public servant and an incredible leader, noting that as Chief of Staff to the Governor, he had made a significant impact on the state.
Nkwoka also recalled that while working as a Mayor of Brent, overseas, Ezeajughi was involved in various initiatives and projects aimed at improving the lives of Brent residents, including community development, education, and environmental sustainability.
