C.W.O President, St Michael’s Parish Uga Loses Mother

The remains of late Mrs. Roseline Akuba Ezenyilimba (Nee Umenwa Mpiaha), were on March 21, 2019, interred to rest at her compound, Umunwadim, Umudim Umueze Village, Uga, Aguata L.G.A, Anambra State.

Late Mrs. Ezenyilimba, who died of illness on February 8, 2019 at Kandudi Specialist Hospital, Achina, Aguata L.G.A, at 92 years old, was the mother of the President of Catholic Women’s Organisation (C.W.O), St Michael’s Parish, Uga, Mrs. Ngozi Obi.

The deceased, who was honoured as a Golden Mother by St Peter’s Parish, Uga, was an active member of C.W.O, St Peter’s Parish, Uga. She equally served as the Vice President, Christian Mothers of the parish for many years, and was a member of St Jude’s Society, among other societies and groups she belonged to.

An ardent devotee of Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM), late Mrs. Ezenyilimba, prayed her rosary daily and weekly washed her private altar cloth, saying that she would never allow the altar of BVM to get dirty.

Earlier during the concelebrated burial Mass led at St Peter’s Catholic Church, Uga by the parish vicar, Rev. Fr. Kizito Okoli, the parish priest of St Michael’s Parish, Uga, Rev. Fr. Robinson Agbadugo in his homily, described death as a necessary end.

Rev Fr. Agbadugo urged all to strive for good lives spent in services to God and humanity and holiness of life, so as to make heaven after their sojourn on earth.

The deceased is survived by three children- Mrs. Martina Umeasiegbu, Mrs. Ngozi Obi and Mr. Jude Ezenyilimba; many grandchildren and numerous relatives.

The deceased’s second daughter and president, C.W.O, St Michael’s Parish, Uga, Mrs. Ngozi Obi, performs the dust-to-dust rites. First left is the chief celebrant at the Mass, Rev. Fr. Kizito Okoli.
