Bishop Ezeofor, wife and others at the service
The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor, has tasked members of the Parochial Church Committee and other organizations in Aguata Diocese to be focused and ensure adequate training for its members.
Bishop Ezeofor who is also the National Chairman of the Evangelical Fellowship in the Anglican Communion, EFAC, insisted that no organization would succeed without adequate training.
He spoke at Immanuel Parish Ezinifite in Aguata Local Government Area during the dedication service for the Parochial Church Committee.
Bishop Ezeofor charged those that were appointed into various church organizations to always aspire to live up to expectations, stressing the need for those in leadership position to work towards making those they are serving to believe in them by being transparent in their service.
He maintained that no leader could please everybody and advised those in authority to always seek the power and wisdom of God to succeed.
Bishop Ezeofor used the opportunity to advise the people to refrain from working against their leaders.
Earlier in a sermon, the Archdeacon of Umuchu Archdeaconry, Venerable David Obiagboso, who said the Anglican Church was synonymous with the teaching ministry, called on those chosen to serve in the Church to be spiritually balanced in order to work effectively.
