The Clarion call by Governor Willie Obiano to Ndi Anambra to bring home their wealth is yielding positive results as the people of Azia, in Ihiala Local Government Area are savouring the benevolence of one of their own, Chief Paul Orajiaka.
The people were filled with gratitude as they receive health care services free of charge.
The event took place at the Azia Civic Centre.
The free medical outreach which was sponsored by Paul Orajiaka Foundation is for the benefit of the people of Anambra South Senatorial Zone.
Speaking to our correspondent, the Sponsor and founder of the foundation, Chief Paul Orajiaka noted that the foundation is aimed at giving the people a new lease of life, health wise adding that most of the challenges facing people include getting health care services at the primary level.
Chief Orajiaka said it is important that people at the grassroot get free medical consultation and medication for all their ailments as they need to be healthy and live a good life, intimating that the same free medical treatment will be replicated in Anambra North and Anambra Central Senatorial Zones respectively.
On his part, the leader of the Medical Team, Dr. Fola David from Lagos State, said that the free medical outreach is for everybody irrespective of their age adding that they are focusing on checking on vital signs and called on the beneficiaries to adhere strictly to doctor’s prescription for better result.
The President-General Azia General Assembly, Dr. Tonna Nwabueze commended the sponsor of the free medical outreach and called on affluent individuals in the society to emulate Chief Orajiaka’s magnanimity.
The beneficiaries were filled with gratitude and prayed God to bless the benefactor.
