As a way of deepening the message of the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to the grassroots, as well as stressing the need for all APGA’s members to arm themselves with Soludo Kindred Initiative Operational Manual, the National Executive of APGA Solidarity Movement Worldwide (ASM) led by the National Convener, Hon Chief Ebere Okafor, KSJI, on Monday, 3rd March, inaugurated the Onitsha North Local Government Area executive.

Inaugurating the exco in the presence of an impressive crowd who thronged the Onitsha North Local Government Council’s Headquarters to witness and partake of the event, the National Convener recalled that the Asaba, Delta State Chapter of APGA Solidarity Movement Worldwide was inaugurated recently, saying that Governor Soludo’s re-election remained the message, even as he asked the LG executive to take the message of APGA Solidarity Movement Worldwide to all corners of Onitsha North Local Government and beyond.

‘The message is simple. Go out there and preach the message of the Governor’s re-election. Make use of Soludo Kindred Initiative Operational Manual. All you need to know about the party is embedded in that handbook. Governor Soludo has given so much to campaign for.

His good work is there for all to see. You have every opportunity to distinguish yourselves and make your mark. APGA Solidarity Movement Worldwide is actually going around spreading the key message, which is to reward the Governor who has done so well with another tenure in office.

‘We are here today to inaugurate and fortify you. We are also here to inform you about the importance of spreading the good news. APGA Solidarity Movement Worldwide has been in existence for the past eleven years. Formed in the year 2014. Our mandate is to promote, defend the ideals of the party, and also the leadership.

The National Leader of our great party, Governor Chukwuma Soludo; the National Chairman of APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa and the State Chairman of APGA, High Chief (Barr.) Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, are aware that we are here today.

‘They know and also approve of this movement. They are solidly behind us. We are grateful to them for their continued support, guidance, and protection. I encourage you all to work hard and justify your inclusion. You’re hereby inaugurated,’ the National Convener concluded.

Earlier, the Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, thanked the leadership of APGA Solidarity Movement Worldwide for embarking on what he described as such a noble initiative, even as he urged members to take seriously the activities of APGA and its wellness, noting that promotion of the party was tantamount to supporting Governor Soludo whom he described as a born leader and a workaholic.

He enjoined all to work assiduously towards ensuring that the Governor emerged victorious in the November 8 ubernatorial poll.

The City Mayor commended the Coordinator of ASM, Onitsha North, Hon Shedrack Uwamaka Okafor, for his ability to mobilize such party faithful in their numbers to grace the occasion, applauding him for dedication and team spirit, assuring him of his unflinching support.

In his goodwill message, the Anambra North Zonal Vice Chairman of APGA, Chief Ojinnaka Uzoechina, harped on honesty and loyalty, predicting 100% victory for Governor Soludo in the fast approaching Governorship election in Anambra State. Chief Uzoechina urged ASM members to work directly with their Coordinator to ensure smooth and impactful outing in the coming guber election.

Speaking, the former Commissioner for Agriculture, Anambra State, Hon Nnamdi Onukwuba, showered praises on the National leadership of APGA Solidarity Movement Worldwide, describing the group as unique and self-explanatory, adding that he identified with it because of its uniqueness and maturity.

Receiving the National Convener and his entourage, the Coordinator of ASM, Onitsha North, Hon. Stanley Uwamaka Okafor, commended the national leadership for the opportunity given to serve, saying that he would not abuse the privilege nor betray the trust, promising to galvanise the Chapter towards internalising the message of the re-election of the Governor and also to promote and defend APGA’s ideals.

Inauguration, a minute of silence observed in honour of the late Honourable Justice Azuka, speeches, formed the highpoints of the occasion.
