The National Convener, AAF, Chief Nchekwube Anthony Dunga, KSM, who led the group, said AAF was a result-oriented All Progressives Grand Alliance Support Group, repositioned to meet the youth-led societal demand and new wave of political challenges in Nigeria, which aimed to propagate the core values of APGA and promote her candidates across Nigeria for electoral victories and make the party the first choice in the nation’s politics.

‘While we take Anambra State as our takeoff base, we moreover intend to achieve over three hundred and fifty thousand membership data base within the next six months in the state. It’s a socio-political movement and we are determined and dedicated to achieve this,’ Dunga stated.

He said AAF’s 2024 Work Plan for Anambra State included Leadership Orientation Retreat that would hold in the next two weeks for officers of the Forum; Operation Catch 10 Families of 60 voters per polling unit; Stakeholders Engagement/Orientation; the APGA Foundation that would involve partial adoption of schools via scholarships, paying bills of sick persons in hospitals, visiting IDP Camps, among others, in support of the National Chairman’s idea of the APGA Foundation; Anambra Senatorial Zone Inauguration; and the investiture of the Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, as Grand Patron/Chairman Council of Patrons of the Forum, which will also feature the inauguration of both the national and state officers of the Forum.

‘We shall, most humbly, invite Mr. Governor to attend what we have termed “A Wake-up Call of APGA Apostles Campaign Flag-off” where he will be invested with the responsibility as Grand Patron/Chairman, Council of Patrons of the Forum.

This memorable event will hold on 28th of July at Ekwueme Square, Awka, where over 30,000 of our members will gather to make an important declaration. We shall also seize the opportunity to present to Mr. Governor, our Social Development Register of the “10 Families with 60 voters per polling unit” in the 5,720 polling units we have in Anambra State,’ Dunga revealed.

He also disclosed that the Work Plan included the “Onye Aghana Nwanne ya” mantra of the party under which the forum would take up the responsibility of attending funeral ceremonies, marriage/wedding ceremonies, child dedications of members, as well as other social activities.

This was even as he included Funding as a vital part of the Work Plan, noting that everything would be achieved this year with the support of individual members, as well as those of patrons and stakeholders.

The AAF prayed Governor Soludo and other stakeholders to consider the 2024 Work Plan of the APGA Apostles Forum, Anambra Chapter, for approval.

Welcoming them, the Chief of Staff of the Anambra State Government, Hon Ernest Ezeajughi, praised their initiative and assured of the governor’s support; even as he lauded the contents of the Work Plan.

Among the attendees was Mrs Amara Clara Ezeokenwa, wife of the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Sly Ezeokenwa, who represented her husband. She encouraged them to keep up the good work.
