It was celebration galore in some focal communities that are currently benefitting from the Community and Social Development Project-Additional Financing (CSDP-AF) in the state being implemented by Anambra Community and Social Development Agency (ANCSDA) as they rejoice over the successful completion of the 1st micro projects (MPs) in their approved Community Development Plans (CDPs).
The communities with completed MPs which include Ugbenu, Ebenebe communities (Awka North LGA); Umueri, Nando (Anambra East LGA); Umueze Anam, Oroma Etiti Anam (Anambra West LGA) and Omogho (Orumba North LGA) were among the sixteen (16) communities under CSDP-AF intervention in the state at the moment. The others not mentioned above amongst the 16 communities (ie. Ndikelionwu, Umumbo, Nanka, Enugwu Aguleri, Nsugbe, Igbakwu, Mgbakwu, Awba Ofemili, and Ugbene) also have their MPs currently at different stages of completion while some have already started implementing their 2nd Micro projects in their approved CDP.

During the recently concluded ANCSDA Supervisory visits to the 16 focal communities mentioned above, the General Manager ANCSDA, Mr Chudi Mojekwu who led the visits, commended the communities with completed micro projects for a job well done and encouraged the remaining communities to hasten their pace of work to ensure that their 1st MPs are successfully completed in no distant time so that they can commence the implementation of their 2nd MPs as contained in their approved Community Development Plans.
It is worthy to mention that CSDP-AF became effective in the state on August 1st, 2018 through the developmental efforts and giant strides of our current Executive Governor, HE, Chief Willie Mmaduaburochukwu Obiano.
