The Deputy Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly and member representing Orumba North State Constituency, Hon Emeka Aforka, has distributed food items and cash to his constituents in Orumba North.
Hon. Aforka flagged off the distribution of items to his constituents in his country home, Umudiabor, Ndiowu.
Some of the groups that received food items, hand washing buckets, soaps and sanitizers included, Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD); Association of Non-Indigenes; ASATU Youths; Presidents General of town unions; traditional rulers; All APGA ward chairmen; all major churches in Orumba North; all health centres in the LGA and schools.
Hon. Aforka and his team also paid a visit to the vocation centre of the Association of People Living with Sickle Cell Disorder (APLSCD) located at Nanka.
The Deputy Majority Leader during the visit handed over to them lots of food items, beverages, sanitizers and cartons of medicals. He also visited Gethsamane Orphanage Home at Ndikelionwu to identify with them.

HRH Dozie Okoli of Ndiokpaleze; HRH Cyprian Okeke of Amaokpala
His Lordship, Bishop Ozioma Ozoemena;
Hon. Ify Obinabo (Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Orientation); Hon. Pharm Alphonsus Muogbo, (Acting Orumba North Chairman of APGA) and others.
According to Aforka, the next phase of the exercise would be community by community visit.
Towns already visited included Ndiokpaleke, where the palliative was presented at the home of Chief Cletus Okoli; Ndiokpalaeke Village head and an APGA chieftain.
From there, the team proceeded to the palace of HRH Eze Chima C. Okoli to present the palliative to Ndiokolo. The Eze and members of his cabinet, as well as a member of #TeamNwachinemeze Chief Festus Alukwe, were on hand to receive the team at Ndiokolo.
From Ndiokolo, the team proceded to Ndiokpaleze where they were received at the Eze’s palace by HRH, Eze Chidozie Okoli (Okwaeze IV) and Dr. Chidozie Nwosu (PG of Ndiokpalaeze) where the items of Ndiokpaleze were presented.
The traditional rulers of the three communities visited, as well as the town union representatives, appreciated the contributions of Aforka in helping to reduce what they termed hunger virus in their community.
Amaetiti and Ndiukwuenu were also visited.
