The State chairman of the Advanced Congress of Democrats (ACD), Hon. Kate Oby Okafor, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Willie Mmaduaburochukwu Obiano who marked his 64th birthday recently.
In her congratulatory message, Hon. Okafor said the governor deserved all the good wishes, prayers and encomiums he received from Ndi Anambra, Nigerians and the world at large on the occasion of his birthday, saying that she found it imperative to join the rest of the world to celebrate and wish the governor whom she described as an astute administrator and a sound technocrat a happy birthday.
The ACD Boss while felicitating with Governor Willie Obiano commended him for the gift of oxygen production plant he commissioned recently at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku, Awka, in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State recently, describing it as unprecedented.
The renowned actress further lauded the governor for the provision of financial support worth over seven hundred million naira to the Catholic and Anglican missions schools, stating that such gesture was should be applauded and celebrated.
I heard the governor while hosting the National Officials of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) annouced that the body will erect a Cancer Management Centre in Anambra State and that he, Governor Willie Obiano will support them. The governor said it is a project he has supported and will continue toç do so. Is that not amazing? This is what you get when you have a proactive and responsive leader as a governor,’ she said.
Lady Oby Kate Okafor who is an opposition party chairman said that being in an opposition party would not stop her from appreciating and acknowledging what she described as the good works the governor was doing in the state, emphasizing that she was impressed with the governor’s performance so far in the state, saying that with the support and prayers from every quarter, the governor would perform better.
‘Happy birthday, Governor Willie Obiano. May God be with you. Amen,’ Okafor prayed.
