The Gozie Anyachebelu Polytechnic (GOZPOLY), Onitsha, Anambra State, has announced the offer of another One Hundred and Twenty (120) scholarships, covering both tuition and accommodation for the National Diploma (ND) Programme in the institution.
The gesture came less than one month the school had, during her maiden Matriculation and One Year Anniversary in Onitsha.
A one-page official document from the office of the Rector of the polytechnic, Engr (Mrs) Chioma Helen Abone, which announced the offer Wednesday, October 1, 2025, gave details of the awards.
According to the release, the polytechnic which is duly accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), is pleased to announce 120 scholarship awards into the following National Diploma (ND) Programmes of the school: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and, Library and Information Science.
Applicants were advised to note that admitted students into the said courses would in addition, have the opportunity to offer courses leading to the award of techpreneurship certificate programme in the following areas: Solar Technology, Programming and Software Development Electrical Wiring/Electronics Repair and Maintenance; Phone Repair and Maintenance; Website Design; CCTV Installation and Graphic Design.
The polytechnic explained that applicants eligible for the scholarship were young Anglicans from various Anglican Dioceses and Provinces in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) who wrote the 2025 JAMB and scoring a minimum cut-off mark of 100 and above.

The scholarships were sponsored by the Bishop on the Niger, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Nwokolo who was reported to have reiterated that the offer would cover tuition and accommodation fees for “young Anglicans with a passion for technical and technological advancements”.
