2025: State, LG Excos, Inaugurated by APGA Solidarity Movement in Awka

The Anambra State Chapter and the Local Government Executives of APGA Solidarity Movement (ASM) have been inaugurated in Awka, the Anambra State Capital, with a call on them to work towards the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Inaugurating the State and LG Excos, the National Convener of APGA Solidarity Movement, Hon (Sir) Ebere Okafor, paid a glowing tribute to the Governor of Anambra State and the National Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, saying that the Governor was developing all sectors of the state’s economy simultaneously, especially in the health sector, education, sports and urban water scheme, among others.

Hon. Okafor who described the Governor as a blessing to Ndi Anambra State, lauded him for the ‘massive road construction going on in all the 21 LGAs of the state’.

Hon. Okafor urged the newly inaugurated officers to justify their inclusion by wooing and winning many souls over to APGA, describing ASM an organic organization that would outlive every Governor elected on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

His words, ‘This is an opportunity for all the newly inaugurated officers and the 21 LGAs of ASM to showcase their political expertise.

I want you to see it as an opportunity to make APGA greater and prove your capacity. Contributing your quota. We have a mandate and that is to protect, promote and defend our party APGA, from external negative influence and unnecessary distraction, especially now we are working towards re-electing Governor Soludo for second tenure.’

Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated State Executive, the Anambra State Coordinator of ASM, Hon. Barrister Chinedu Adiliuba, through the State Secretary of APGA solidarity movement, Hon. Emmanuel Uzonwanne, thanked the National Convener, Hon Okafor, and his team, for the way and manner they were piloting the affairs of the organization, promising that the State Executive in conjunction with the 21 Local Government Coordinators, would work assiduously towards making the re-election of Governor Soludo, a win-win for all, urging everyone and Ndi Anambra in general to be more committed to the project.

Conveying the message of the National Facilitator of ASM and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Hon. Chief (Sir) Ugochukwu Obiefuna, the National Secretary of ASM, Hon Kenneth Okeke, congratulated the newly inaugurated officers and charged them to live above board, assuring them that the leadership of APGA remained strong and more united

In their separate speeches, the Assistant National Publicity Secretary of APGA, Hon. Chief Ojukwu Obakasi; the Chief of Protocol to National Chairman of APGA and Director of Welfare of ASM, Hon Okey Iloanya; and the Director of Propaganda/Public Opinion, Hon. Amb. Obieri Dominion; Chief Promise Egbeji; Hon Leo Nwuba; among others, commended the National Chairman of APGA for his ‘All-inclusive leadership style’, describing him as a visionary leader and asked all to ignore all forms of distraction.

In a remark the Coordinator of ASM in Anaocha Local Government Area, Hon (Sir) Ogochukwu Egolum, on behalf of the 21 LGA Coordinators, expressed delight with the turnout of the officers and enjoined all to be steadfast and forward-thinking, saying that their efforts would not go unnoticed and unrewarded.

In a vote of thanks, the TC Chairman of Orumba South Hon. Chief (Sir) Shedrack Mbeki, extolled the National Leader of APGA, Professor Soludo, and the National Chairman of APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, for their ‘Dexterity and good work’, asking the new officers to live up to expectations.

Oath of office was administered on the State and LG excos by the State Legal Adviser of ASM, Hon Barr. Obiora Nweke.
