2025 Diocese on the Niger House of Laity Congress Central Planning Committee, CPC, Chairman, Sir Raymond Arinze has assured a robust and full packaged Laity Congress in the diocese.

Sir Raymond assures that, “the 2025 DoN Laity Congress is being packaged to throw explosive activities into the House in the Diocese as positive measures to ignite flames of commitment and dedication in the minds and heart of the laity who invariably cut across the entire population of the Church with the exception of the ordained and consecrated”.

He further revealed the activities forming part of the Congress to include awards, sports, seminar, lectures and launching of Laity almanac.

The 2025 DoN Laity Congress billed to hold September 13 shall be hosted by New Covenant Archdeaconry Nkpor while the venue is St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, SMAAAC, Nkpor Junction.

Thriving on the framework of the theme, “Victory and Dominion”, the Congress shall have the Anglican Bishop of Oji River Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Ikechukwu Egbuonu as the Guest Speaker among other eloquent cream of speakers and lecturers.

The President of the House of Laity, Diocese on the Niger, Pharm Sir Chris Ukachukwu who has been part of the meetings called on all Archdeaconry Laity executive officers to mobilize members in various Churches under them for effective participation, noting that the Congress is positioning to receive at least 2,000 delegates from across the Diocese come September 13.

Pharm Sir Ukachukwu also appealed to the Churches through Archdeaconries to meet up with their financial obligations as the Laity in the Diocese presently has on her shoulders, huge burden demanding money.

The Central Planning Committee CPC Chairman Sir Raymond Arinze requested all Archdeaconry Laity Chairmen and all other persons, organizations and groups that wish to subscribe for goodwill messages or advertisement in the colorful handy Congress brochure to get in touch with the Sub Committee on Media/Publicity/Printing and Awards through the Leader, UBAKA onwuanibe or Amen Chikezie.
